Bleeder- while we only use it once during the building of a saddle for instance- I sure would not want to be without mine. A proper bleeder allows you to split a saddle string so that one saddle string can be passed thru the other creating what we see as 2 strings now braided together. High carbon blade holds an edge well, along with a beautiful hardwood handle and polished brass ferrule.
